Tegler Manor:

Tegler Manor is a 14 story residence for seniors.  Featuring 101 suites, the building is designed for those in their active retirement years. Applicants are required to be a minimum of 65 years of age, and must be capable of independent living - meaning they must be able to care for themselves.

GUEST SUITE AVAILABLE AT VERY REASONABLE RATES!! Base Rate per day is $50/day - for stays longer than five (5) days we can adjust rate as a lump sum.  

Location:  Tegler Manor is ideally located on the comer of 110 Street and 100 Avenue NW; this location is within easy walking distance to the following:

Bus stops and LRT (light transit rail) stations

Catholic, Baptist, Lutheran, Presbyterian, Anglican, United and Christian Science churches

The downtown core, which includes major department stores, grocery stores, and specialty shops

The General Hospital, dentists, doctors, optometrists and podiatrists

The Arts district (including movie theaters and live theater) are also close by

Apartment Features:

Cable TV and telephone outlets in the living room and bedrooms

Window coverings - vertical blinds

Storage room

Full kitchen with self-defrosting refrigerator, electric stove and stainless steel double sinks

Activities:  Some activities are provided by Tegler Manor and others are organized by the residents. Tegler Manor has the following amenities available to all of our residents:

Recreation/Social Room (including a kitchen and TV) 

Hobby/ Exercise Room (including a small library) 

Non-denominational Chapel 

Solarium/Landscaped Patio area

Security:  Tegler Manor offers the following security features: 

Concrete, fire-proof building construction, smoke detectors and alarms

Phone (buzz in) security system for entry into the building

Security cameras available for viewing through each residents' television

Fob Entry for front & back entrances

Laundry: the laundry room is located on the second floor. Washers are $2.00 per load and dryers are $1.00 per load.

Suites and Rental Rates

Tegler Manor offers one and two bedroom suites; monthly rent includes the following:

Water, electricity and heat, basic cable through Shaw Cable.  Residents are responsible for their telephone and internet service and any cable upgrades 

One Bedroom Suites:  All one (1) bedroom suites are eligible for a rental subsidy (reduction) of $100.00 per month IF your income on line 150 of your annual tax return is below $30,000

Suite Rent (before subsidy) and Square Footage

Suite A - $ 1015.00 for 560 sq ft

Suite B - $ 1000.00 for 548 sq ft

Suite C - $ 1005.00 for 585 sq ft

Two Bedroom Suites (no subsidy available for two-bedroom units)

Suite D - $1,215.00 for 763 sq ft

Parking:  There are a limited number of stalls available to residents for $90.00 per stall per month in addition to the rent. 

Due to the limited parking area, Tegler Manor does not provide visitor parking at any time; however, visitors may park on the street or at the General Hospital. Visitors may not park on the boulevard behind the building.

Tegler Terrace:

9918-149 Street, Edmonton

Tegler Terrace is a five story, 83 suite residence designed for active seniors, 65 years of age and older, who seek an independent lifestyle. Applicants must be capable of caring for themselves.

Location:

Tegler Terrace is ideally located on the comer of 149 Street and 100 Avenue, within easy walking distance to the following:

Jasper Gates Shopping Centre 

Bus stops - excellent transit service right out the front door 

Neighborhood churches

Apartment Features:

Cable TV and telephone outlets in the living room and bedrooms

Window coverings - vertical blinds

Storage room

Full kitchen with self-defrosting refrigerator, electric stove and stainless steel double sinks

Activities:  Some activities are provided by Tegler Terrace and others are organized by the residents. Tegler Terrace has the following amenities available to all of our residents:

Security:  Tegler Terrace offers the following security features:

Fire suppression sprinklers installed throughout entire building, smoke detectors and fire alarms

Underground parkade with entrance accessible by coded door operation

Laundry:  the laundry room is located on the second floor.  Washers are $2.00 per load and dryers are $1.00 per load.

Suite E - $1,265.00 for 800 sq ft

Parking:  Underground Parking
